What happened
On April 25, 2018, SmartMesh token suffered an integer overflow in the transferProxy function, allowing attackers to generate massive quantities of counterfeit tokens (~65.3 trillion). Though no direct USD loss is documented, ~16.6M counterfeit tokens were actually traded on exchanges before being halted.
