What happened
On November 2, 2022, an attacker compromised an administrator's private key for Rubic's bridge, which controlled the RBC/BRBC bridge and staking rewards. The attacker stole approximately 34M RBC tokens and sold them on Uniswap and PancakeSwap, with realized losses estimated at ~$1.2M. The token price collapsed 98% following the mass liquidation.
