What happened
On July 12, 2022, Citizen Finance suffered an attack where an unauthorized party obtained access to private keys for BNB and Polygon chains. The attacker transferred 244 BNB (~$55K), 57,637 MATIC (~$32.3K), and 7,000 USDC for a total of ~$94.3K, causing the CIFI token to plummet over 50%.
