What happened
On 30 May 2026 the afiUSD vault of AFI Protocol, a proof-of-reserve and yield-vault platform for RWAs on Ethereum, was drained of approximately $480,000. AFI paused the affected vault within hours, rotated operational keys across the platform, and reported that its other vaults and the remaining ~$225M TVL were unaffected. The attacker swapped ~$252k DAI to ETH and sent ~150 ETH through Tornado Cash. AFI has not published the exploit path.
