What happened
On November 11, 2025, Impermax V3 on Base suffered a $380K exploit. The attacker created tiny positions in low-liquidity cbBTC-tBTC pairs to push totalBalance toward zero, collapsing the exchange rate and enabling exponential minting of borrowable tokens. When totalBalance hit zero, all deposits were redirected to the attacker.
