What happened
On July 21, 2024, UtopiaSphere (UPS) token on BSC was exploited for approximately $521,000 through a flashloan-based price manipulation attack. The attacker exploited the swapBurn() mechanism by flash-loaning 89.672M USDT and 6.424M USDT in vUSDC to manipulate UPS token prices and drain the PancakeSwap pair.
