What happened
On September 10, 2024, Indodax Indonesian crypto exchange suffered a $25.47 million hack affecting its hot wallet. Attackers obtained approximately 5,204 ETH ($12.37M) along with Polygon, Tron, Bitcoin and various ERC-20 tokens without compromising private keys, suggesting the breach involved the withdrawal protocol itself.
