What happened
Beginning June 22, 2021, Haven Protocol was exploited through multiple vulnerabilities including miner reward validation bypass, xJPY to xBTC conversion exploitation, and hidden burn/mint amount bugs. An unknown quantity of XHV tokens were minted before the network rolled back to pre-attack state on July 20 via hard fork.
