What happened
An attacker possessing NuNet’s deployer/mint authority directly called mint() on the NTX token and created 408,532,878.13 unbacked NTX in a single mint. Unlike the related Fetch.ai incident, NuNet’s converter was not the exploited component. Bitquery’s on-chain reconstruction finds that the attacker held the NTX token’s own mint role, allowing the unauthorized supply to be created directly. The same attack cluster compromised multiple project authorization/deployer keys and also drained Fetch.ai’s converter
