What happened
On July 2, 2025, Future Protocol (FPC) on Binance Smart Chain was exploited via a flash loan attack combined with token burn manipulation. The attacker borrowed 23M USDT, swapped it all for FPC to manipulate the pool price, then leveraged the tokenomics that burned FPC from the pool to create a price imbalance and extract approximately $4.6 million.
