What happened
On March 26-27, 2023, Kokomo Finance developers initiated an exit scam, stealing ~$4M in user funds. The team manipulated the cBTC reward token contract, halted borrowing, converted the token implementation into a malicious contract, and removed all social media and website within days of launch.
