What happened
On July 23, 2024, the dYdX domain (dydx.exchange) was compromised when attackers changed DNS nameservers via a compromised Squarespace account. Two users lost approximately $31,000 when redirected to a malicious contract attempting to steal their tokens. The site was restored within three hours and the domain was transferred to Cloudflare.
