What happened
On July 6, 2026, Summer.fi's Lazy Summer Protocol USDC vaults were exploited when an impaired Silo vault (from November 2025 Stream Finance collapse) remained in NAV calculations. The attacker accumulated vault tokens whose value hadn't reflected economic impairment, transferred them to inflate totalAssets, and redeemed at inflated price for $6.04M in genuine USDC.
