What happened
On August 16, 2024, Zenterest lending protocol was exploited for approximately $21,000 when an attacker exploited severely stale oracle prices. The ZenterestPriceFeed had not been updated for 570 days, displaying MPH Token at an inflated price of 944,836,858,607,953 versus the actual 0.4677 USD, enabling excessive borrows that the attacker profited on.
