What happened
Moonwell Lending on Base suffered a $1.78M loss when AI-generated code misconfigured the cbETH oracle to price it at $1.12 instead of nearly $2,200, failing to multiply the exchange rate by the price feed. This enabled abnormal liquidations and borrowing.
