What happened
On January 3, 2023, the GDS protocol on BSC was exploited using a flash loan attack. The attacker borrowed $2.38M USD via flash loan, manipulated the LP mining reward calculation by exploiting a flaw in the _lpRewardAmount calculation, and created multiple attack contracts to withdraw excessive rewards. The attacker profited approximately $187K before repaying the flash loan.
