What happened
On September 27, 2025 Hyperdrive (lending protocol on Hyperliquid L1) lost approximately $782,000 to an exploit where attackers exploited an arbitrary router call vulnerability, making repeated withdrawals from the Primary USDT0 Market and Treasury USDT Market and extracting ~673,000 USDT0 and 110,244 thBILL, with stolen funds bridged to Ethereum ($494k) and BNB Chain ($279k).
