What happened
On September 26, 2024, Onyx Protocol (Compound v2 fork) was exploited for $3.8M via decimal precision vulnerability in its low-liquidity VUSD market. Attackers used a Balancer flashloan to manipulate exchange rates by minting and redeeming oETH, then exploited missing validation in the NFTLiquidation contract to drain value through self-liquidation rewards.
