GriffinAI on BSC lost $3M on September 24, 2025 when misconfigured LayerZero peer validation let attacker initialize a fake peer on Ethereum and mint 5B unauthorized GAIN tokens on BSC. Attacker swapped ~150M tokens before GAIN crashed 90%.
