On November 4, 2025, Moonwell on Base and Optimism was exploited for $1 million when the Chainlink oracle incorrectly priced wrapped restaked Ethereum (wrstETH) at ~$5.8M instead of actual value, allowing a flash loan attack to repeatedly borrow against false collateral.
