What happened
An attacker exploited a dormant perpetual market on Rocket by placing artificially inflated orders and trading between accounts under their control. The trades generated artificial profits in one account while bankrupting a disposable counterparty. The profitable account withdrew approximately $287,666 through Rocket’s Bridge, leaving a deficit to be socialized across platform users. Rocket subsequently confirmed the full return of the withdrawn funds
