What happened
On April 9, 2026, attacker took over AethirOFTAdapter on BNB Chain and drained ~423K ATH via unprotected ownership/admin function with no multisig or timelock. Funds were bridged to TRON via Symbiosis; Aethir disconnected contracts and coordinated blacklisting with major exchanges.
