What happened
On February 7, 2023, CoW Swap was exploited through a vulnerability in the SwapGuard contract which permitted arbitrary external calls. The attacker forced the GPv2Settlement contract to approve a malicious contract and transferred DAI tokens worth approximately $180K from the settlement contract.
