What happened
On July 26, 2026, ChainConnect's EVM integration was compromised through unauthorized access, allowing attackers to drain ~$650,000 in tokens from bridge contracts on Ethereum, BNB Chain, Avalanche C-Chain, and Polygon across 23 transactions. Venom Network assets were unaffected.
