What happened
The Italian exchange Altsbit suffered a hot wallet breach on February 5, 2020, losing cryptocurrency including Bitcoin, Ether, Pirate Chain (ARRR), VerusCoin (VRSC), and Komodo (KMD). The attackers accessed hot wallets holding 'almost all funds', forcing the platform to suspend operations and eventually cease operations in May 2020. LulzSec claimed responsibility on Twitter.
