What happened
KICKICO ICO platform was exploited on July 26, 2018 when attackers gained access to the private key managing the KICK token contract. The attacker destroyed KICK tokens at 40 addresses and recreated them at 40 attacker-controlled wallets, stealing over 70 million KICK tokens worth $7.7 million. KICKICO regained control by switching to a cold-storage key.
