What happened
On July 14, 2021 ApeRocket (DeFi yield farming aggregator) suffered two coordinated flashloan attacks on BSC and Polygon within hours when attackers borrowed massive amounts of AAVE and CAKE (representing >99% of vault holdings), deposited them to inflate share counts, and dumped minted SPACE tokens for profit, causing SPACE to crash 63% because reward calculation lacked flashloan protection.
