What happened
On January 16-17, 2022, the CryptoBurgers play-to-earn game was exploited when the BURG token's burn function lacked access control, allowing attackers to burn tokens from the PancakeSwap liquidity pool to manipulate prices. Using flashloans, two attackers drained approximately $700K-$770K in BNB from the protocol by exploiting the unprotected burn mechanism.
