What happened
A June 2024 upgrade to Terra Phoenix reintroduced an unpatched ibc-go 7.3.x fork, reintroducing a reentrancy bug in ibc-hooks timeout callback. An attacker exploited this to mint tokens and swap them through Astroport before the chain halted.
