What happened
Nigerian crypto exchange Patricia suffered a security breach compromising Bitcoin and Naira assets, resulting in $2M in losses. Although the breach occurred in January 2022, it was only disclosed in May 2023. Patricia committed to a 2-5 year repayment plan for affected users starting December 2024.
