What happened
On May 16-17, 2026, the Adshares cross-chain bridge was exploited when the bridge-minter EOA signed three wrapTo() calls with non-existent native-chain transaction IDs. The attacker minted fake wrapped ADS tokens and dumped ~$628K worth (148.5 ETH + 305K USDC) on Ethereum.
