On May 27, 2026, Stake DAO on Arbitrum was exploited when a compromised deployer key reconfigured the LayerZero v2 OFT peer. The attacker minted 5.4 trillion vsdCRV tokens; despite massive nominal value, poor liquidity limited actual extraction to ~$91K.
